2016 NC 4-H Hall of Fame Nominations

The NC 4-H Hall of Fame honors people who have made a significant impact on the North Carolina 4-H Program. The following are the awards categories for the 2016 NC 4-H Hall of Fame inductees:

  • The NC 4-H Alumni Outstanding Citizen Award is given to an alumnus who has been involved in community and civic activities in outstanding ways.
  • The NC 4-H Alumni Full Circle Award is presented to an alumnus who has excelled in 4-H and has been active in continuing to support the work of 4-H at the local, regional, state and national levels.
  • The NC 4-H Young Alumni Award is presented to a 4-H alumnus under the age of 30 who has excelled in their transition from 4-H member to active 4-H volunteer at the local, regional, state and national levels.

Honorees will be selected from nominations made each year.  Nominations may come from County Extension Centers, 4-H Groups, North Carolina Cooperative Extension Staff, and individuals.  Nomination forms will be due to the North Carolina 4-H Alumni and Friends Association on June 1, 2016 and can be e-mailed to mitzi_downing@ncsu.edu or printed and mailed to the address listed on the nomination form.
