It’s hard to believe that another 4-H year is almost over!! It’s great to look back at all of the accomplishments of our Buncombe County 4-Hers and a great way to do that is through your 4-H Project Records. 4-H project records are a great way of documenting what you did in your 4-H project area including the goals you set for the year, activities you participated in, awards you received, and things that you learned.
Each year, 4-H members can submit their 4-H Project Records for county level judging. Once judged at the county level, winning books are sent on to district and state level judging where they receive awards. Please click on the links below to download the copy of the project record report form for your age division. You can also view the 2012 Project Record Guide Book for additional information on how to put your report together. Project Records and Cumulative Records are due to the Buncombe County Extension office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013. Please make sure you have this date on your calendar and let your fellow 4-H club members know about it as well
For those of you interested in submitting a Cumulative Record this year, please note that the forms have changed. The new “4-H Portfolio” can be found at the link below. This form is used by 4-H members have completed multiple years of activities in the same project area.
As always, if you have any questions about putting together your 4-H Project Records, please contact Holly Jordan at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (828) 255-5522.
