2013 NC 4-H Congress Recap

Seth Austin, Tucker Worley, Ty Worley, Madison Baldwin, and Savannah Mathis spent June 21-25th in Raleigh attending North Carolina 4-H Congress.  Congress is where the elections for state and district 4-H officers takes place as well as the state level competitions for presentations.  4-H members also participated in a variety of workshops that focus on leadership and service.  They also helped out with the state-wide service project through Sole Hope where they cut out fabric to be used to construct shoes for children in Africa.

Congress is a great way to meet new 4-H friends from the West district and across the state.  We’d also like to congratulate Madison Baldwin, Grace Grant, and Paige Jordan for doing great jobs with their 4-H presentations at the state level!!
