4-H County Council Meeting- May 30th

gavelOur next Buncombe 4-H County Council meeting is being held on Thursday, May 30th, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Buncombe County Extension Center (94 Coxe Ave in downtown Asheville).  We have lots of information to cover and several upcoming events to get planned.

We are planning to have an ice cream social.  Holly will provide the ice cream and each family is asked to bring a topping (chocolate syrup, whipped cream, cherries, strawberry syrup, chopped nuts, etc).  If you are planning to attend the meeting, please RSVP to Holly at holly_jordan@ncsu.edu.

April 18, 2013  4-H County Council Meeting:
Madison Baldwin called the meeting to order.
Pledges were said.
There were 9 people present.
Old business:
Annual Achievement Program went well.
County 4-H Presentation day was a huge success.
Congratulations to all who participated.
Information was given by Holly and discussion followed on the following:
New Business:
Spring Bulb Fundraiser for County Council starts now and due in to Holly by April 30th
New County 4-H Congress video- A 15 second video will be made by Owen at the
Biltmore House, Parkway, or Splash fountain.  Holly will coordinate and let the
others know when and where.  
Tractor Supply hot dog sale to raise money for County Council will be on May,18 from 10-6.
also support  the paper clover campaign there. volunteers needed Asheville City Market kids corner July,20 volunteers needed doing garden in a glove.

4-H night with the Tourists July,29 $5.00 per person

Next County Council meeting will be May 30th with an Ice Cream Social
