The 2013 NC 4-H Volunteer Leaders’ Conference will be February 1-3, 2013, at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Conference Center in Research Triangle Park.
This is your opportunity to participate in workshops and seminars designed especially for 4-H volunteers and agents to create positive learning experiences for young people across the state. Annually, more than 350 conference participants gain skills and knowledge to help make the best better!
Regular conference registration opens Friday afternoon, and we’ll start things off right with a Mardi Gras festival to celebrate 4-H in North Carolina! Featuring educational curriculum exhibits, games and activities, this is shaping up to be a great evening. A highlight of the evening will be our Parade of Floats – you don’t want to miss this!
Saturday features more than 45 workshop choices in 90- and 60-minute settings. We’ll learn about the electric project, great ideas for community club activities, leadership, teamwork, and lots of animal science sessions! Saturday evening, we’ll celebrate all of our award winners with a wonderful banquet event, and we’ll conclude the conference on Sunday morning with a great cap-note speaker and brunch.
