It’s almost time for the 2012 State 4-H Council Conference!! The conference will take place November 3 & 4th at the Jane S. McKimmon Center in Raleigh. State Council Conference is for youth ages 13-18. Plans are being made for exciting workshops, 4-H Ambassador training and speakers with focus on the Revolution of Responsibility theme.
Thanks to scholarships provided by the Asheville Kiwanis we are able to offer this two-day conference to Buncombe County 4-H members for $65 per participant which includes lodging, meals, shirt, and materials for the training. Transportation will be provided with the state van. We will finalize the travel arrangements as soon as we determine who and how many of us will be going to the conference.

Registration and payment are due in the Buncombe 4-H Office NO LATER THAN 12:00 NOON FRIDAY, October 12th, 2012. We also need to make sure that we have an updated Media Release Form and Medical Release Form for each participant.
