Resource Conservation Workshop in Raleigh, NC

Each year the Buncombe County Soil and Water Conservation District sponsors two students to go to the state Resource Conservation Workshop in Raleigh with all expenses paid. This year’s workshop will take place June 24 – June 29, 2012 and will focus on teaching students about natural resources and their management in today’s environment.

Eligible students must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in high school and demonstrate an interest in natural resource conservation.  More information about the workshop can be found at http://www.ncagr.gov/sw/2011rcw.html.
