2011 West District 4-H Horse Clinic

The best deal for horse lovers is just around the corner!  The West District 4-H Horsemanship Clinic will be held at the WNC Ag Center in Fletcher, NC on Monday-Wednesday, June  13-15, 2011.

Imagine!  Professional instructors, running games, cattle sorting, a picnic, social time, recreation- all for just $60. Now that’s a deal! The best news is that the clinic is open to all youth- not just 4-H boys and girls.   So, even if you have never been involved in 4-H, feel free to register for the clinic.   A maximum of 120 youth can enroll.   Youth participants from the counties in the West Extension District will have priority for spaces until June 1.   After that date, any remaining spaces may be filled by applicants from outside of the district on a first come-first served basis.

The horse clinic is designed for youth to increase their horsemanship knowledge and riding skills.  Each participant brings his/her horse and, throughout the three days, participates in riding classes in selected disciplines as well as demonstrations and lectures.   Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced rider, the clinic offers something for you!

Please download the documents below for additional information, schedules, and registrations for the clinic.  If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact Holly Jordan at holly_jordan@ncsu.edu.
