North Carolina 4-H Alumni Awards

The NC 4-H Alumni and Friends Association is now accepting nominations for three awards to deserving alumni of the 4-H program.  Nominations for the following awards are due to the North Carolina 4-H Office no later than April 15, 2011.  Awards will be presented at State 4-H Congress during the summer.  Please CLICK HERE to download the nomination form for the following awards.

Young 4-H Alumni Award:
The Young 4-H Alumni Award is presented to a 4-H alumnus under the age of 30 who has transitioned from 4-H member to 4-H volunteer.  Nominees should be individuals who have become actively involved as volunteers in any aspect of the 4-H program at the club, county, district or state level.

Full Circle 4-H Alumni Award:
The Full Circle NC 4-H Alumni Award is presented to a 4-H alumnus who gives back to the 4-H program, ideally making an impact as a volunteer at some level in the program.  The successful nominees would be individuals who use the knowledge and skills they gained as a 4-H’er to give back to the 4-H program today.

Outstanding Citizen 4-H Alumni Award:
The NC Outstanding Citizen 4-H Alumni Award is presented to a 4-H alumnus who has used his/her knowledge and skills gained through 4-H to make an impact on the greater community.
