The next Buncombe County 4-H County Council Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 28th at 6:30pm at the Fireman’s Training Center located at 180 Erwin Hills Road, Asheville, NC 28806. There was a conflict of room scheduling when we changed our meeting date because there is no school on our regular meeting night.)This County Council Meeting will also be the Officer Elections for the 2011 Buncombe County 4-H County Council.
We hope that everyone will plan to attend this meeting to support our current County Council Officers and our up-and-coming Officers. If you would like to run for Historian, Treasurer, Secretary, Reporter, Vice President or President, please prepare a two minute speech about why you are qualified for the position and plan on arriving at the 4-H Office at least fifteen minutes prior to the 6:30pm start time. If you are running for office, please download a nomination form, fill it out, and have it back to Holly (firstname.lastname@example.org or mail it/drop it by the 4-H Office at 94 Coxe Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801) no later than Tuesday October 26th at 5:00pm. Please come hungry as this meeting will include a pizza party! For $2.00 per person, we will be providing pizza and drinks for everyone. We hope that this solves the dinnertime/start-time problem and provides a fully belly for all of our candidates running for office (and those voting)!
