Let’s Talk Workshops for Parents

These workshops are for parents/guardians of teens in the Asheville area, aimed at helping parents start conversations with their children on a range of critical topics. The workshops are free, open to parents and guardians only, and will take place at Randolph Learning Center on evenings throughout the next few months. Embrace your right and responsibility to be your teen’s primary educator. Join us for snacks, information and discussion. Workshops are at Randolph Learning Center, 90 Montford Ave., Asheville. Time: 6-7:30pm ~ For Parents Only. FREE, Open to all parents, no registration required. For more information, contact Our VOICE at 252-0562. “Let’s Talk” is a collaboration of local organizations: Our VOICE, Western North Carolina AIDS Project, Helpmate, Planned Parenthood, Randolph Learning Center, On Track, Safe & Drug Free Schools at Asheville City Schools, Western Highlands, North Carolinians Against Gun Violence, and Tapestry. If the Asheville City Schools are closed for bad weather, workshops will be rescheduled on back-up date. See below for dates and topics.
