Each summer, the National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA) has a 4-H Talent Showcase during their annual meeting. Ten to fifteen 4-H talents acts from across the country are selected to perform for over 500 Conference attendees.
This year’s NACAA meeting is in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they are currently looking for 4-H talent acts to invite. In order to be considered for this event, you must video tape your performance, and turn it in, along with your completed application form, by November 1st to the Wagoner County Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Center. The 4-H Talent Revue committee will begin reviewing the audition tapes and begin notifying those acts that are selected on December 1, 2009 so that we can all begin finalizing travel plans.
The 4-H member(s) selected to participate would need to arrive in Tulsa on Saturday July 10, 2010 and would be available to depart on Tuesday July 13, 2010. The 4-H Talent Revue will be held on Monday July 12. Acts that are selected and desire to fly to Tulsa will be reimbursed for air fare and motel rooms for one adult chaperone and 4-H member(s). Those acts which choose to drive in will be reimbursed for actual fuel costs and motel rooms for one adult chaperone and 4-H member(s).
